CelcomDigi launches WebSHIELD — instant protection against phishing & malicious websites 

PETALING JAYA, 25 August 2025 — CelcomDigi Berhad (“CelcomDigi”) introduced WebSHIELD, a powerful new addition to its mobile security suite, designed to protect users from online threats before they even reach the devices.  

Customers who subscribe to WebSHIELD between 21 August and 20 November 2025 will get to enjoy a special promotional rate of RM1/month throughout the campaign period. Once the promo ends, WebSHIELD will be available at its standard rate of RM3/month.

WebSHIELD is a network-based security service powered by Cisco’s global threat intelligence, designed to automatically blocks phishing attempts, fake websites, and malicious downloads the moment users connect to CelcomDigi’s mobile network. It runs silently in the background, ensuring a safer digital experience whether you're browsing, shopping, or staying connected without the need for additional setup.
