CelcomDigi’s annual Customer Engagement Day unites customers and employees for a day of sports and celebration

October 16, 2025

PETALING JAYA, 15 OCTOBER 2025 – CelcomDigi Berhad (CelcomDigi) continues its tradition of celebrating customers with its third annual Customer Engagement Day (CED). CED has become a signature event in CelcomDigi’s calendar, dedicated to appreciating customers while reinforcing the company’s customer-obsessed culture.

This year, the company invited customers to join its employees in a vibrant day of sports and interaction via Arena CelcomDigi, a platform that serves to promote active lifestyles and nurture aspiring athletes.

Held across multiple locations throughout Malaysia on 11 October 2025, CED coincided with Hari Sukan Negara, making the celebration event more meaningful. The event featured pickleball, lawn bowls, sepak takraw, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), blending physical sports with esports to create a dynamic and inclusive experience. Customers also participated in coaching clinics and meet-and-greet sessions with professional athletes, including top players from the Malaysian Lawn Bowls Federation, the ESM Pro Team in pickleball, Selangor Red Giants (SRG.OG) from Mobile Legends, as well as athletes from the Sepak Takraw League (STL), giving them the opportunity to play, learn, and connect with CelcomDigi employees in a meaningful and energetic setting. By aligning CED with Hari Sukan Negara, CelcomDigi celebrated its customers while embracing the nation’s shared spirit of sportsmanship, unity, and togetherness.

CelcomDigi’s Acting Chief Executive Officer, Albern Murty said, “Customer Engagement Day is a chance for us to connect with our customers in a more personal way, beyond the usual touchpoints and share moments that reflect our appreciation. By bringing Arena CelcomDigi into this year’s celebration, we hoped to create experiences that show how much we value every relationship and our deep commitment in building a brand that is relatable, customer-obsessed and trusted by Malaysians.”

CED was held alongside CDlympics, CelcomDigi’s internal employee engagement initiative focused on wellness and team spirit. Held for the second time, CDlympics brings together more than 3,800 employees from across the country in friendly competition under six spirited ‘rumah sukan’. Through activities that energise the body, mind, and spirit, CDlympics reinforces the company’s culture of teamwork, inclusion, and care, uniting employees as one CelcomDigi family.
